Kava doesn’t really agree with me but I did have a few enjoyable sessions with Vanuatu Select before giving up on Kava. If I was to stay with it I would definitely order from the Kava Roots as well as order Vanuatu Select. I gave it 4 stars only because I know it is a quality product it’s that kava doesn't mix well with my chemistry and other lifestyle choices. However, I am glad that its out there as another alternative

Superb Quality, I knew this stuff was going to be good even before I took a sip, the grog was incredibly thick in the first minute of straining. Very pronounced head rush after a couple shells, this stuff is seriously potent.

We enjoyed with with a bit of milk and a lot of water. Run it through the blender for 4 minutes and strain. Makes for a relaxed evening.

Love it, my favorite variety of Kava. Nice and heady and hits you really hard with a strong flavor. I always drink it with a bombilla and use an aluball, or shaken up with 4tbsp in a nutmilk bag inside a mason jar. Does the trick every time!

Wow! Wonderful heavy kava! As noted the taste isn’t as pronounced and strong as some other kavas. I did notice that the mouth numbing lasted quite a long time. It starts off with a very nice uplifting wave of empathy and chatty sensation that calmly transposes into the heavy end of the pool where sleep comes easily. Very strong and enjoyable!

So basically this stuff is very potent and absolutely has a mild taste. Its on the heavy side which helps greatly for my anxiety and it lasts longer then most kavas ive tried and ive tried a lot. Highly recommended. Oh and one more note because of kava being so expensive i got more out of it by shaking x amount of tbsp in a gatorade bottle vigorously for five min with warm water and a little coffee cream for fat (which helps to pull out lactones) then i kneaded it for 5-10 min in a strainer bag. Then i kneaded it 10 more min in a second batch of clean warm water and trust me now i had all the kavalactones out of the grinds. Just double strain your kneaded product and you r good to go. Sorry for the long review but i am writing it for you to get the absolute most out of your product. Take your time preparing it!!!!! I used two tbsp in one serving and man oh man the relaxation was tremendous and lasting and slowly is helping me wean off of prescription drugs with less horrible withdrawal symptoms. Thank u kavaroots!!
