I'm not sure what I'm supposed to expect from drinking this concoction but I do know that since I've been consuming it in the evenings, I have gotten 8-hours sleep twice which is 2 times more than I've been able to muster in years. With a little Maple Syrup the stuff doesn't taste that bad either compared to some of the other roots I've tried.

Picked up bags of Noble Warrior and Tongan Choice. I was really excited to try them out but unfortunately they don't seem to have much of an effect. I've tried different preparation methods and different amounts of kava but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried kava from other sources so I'm surprised at the lack of potency.

This was my entry to Kava. Not only was I happy to hear how respected The Kava Roots is on the Reddit community r/kava, but was also stoked to experience relaxing and warm ceremony right from my first drink. The Tongan Family Reserve is a real treat.
